WHAT A TIME FOR A BLUE MARLIN! John Gray & crew, from New Jersey, had a nice ride out but we knew the wind was coming.... Rain & squalls all around us, the guys caught a few nice dolphin and while doing trying to find a school of them, we hooked a white marlin but their was so much scattered grass that things got fouled up and we pulled the hook..... missed another white a while later and around 12:30 the wind started howling ....25-25knots northeast.... we were ready to get out of there when a small blue went for the teaser, switched to the flat line and then I hooked it on a long rigger small bait....Hooked up blue marlin.... the other boats were heading home as Tom Depaulis, from Medford, NJ fought & released the 150 blue marlin in 30 minutes and then we hauled ass as seas built to 8ft..... good way to end the day! 0 Comments For older fishing reports and photos please go to our archives
